The Skills Enhancement Fund is funded by Yorkshire Forward and the European Social Fund and co-financed monies through the Learning and Skills Council for Yorkshire and Humber. It was commissioned by the Learning and Skills Council and Yorkshire Forward and awarded to the West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges, with Calderdale College as the accountable body.
The aim of The Skills Enhancement Fund is to engage employers in Yorkshire and Humber in skills development and increase the skills base within the region. The Skills Enhancement Fund will therefore:
The Skills Enhancement Fund’s accountable body is Calderdale College with Delivery Hubs based at Leeds City College's Technology Campus for West, North Yorkshire & Humber and Fusion at Magna Science Centre for South Yorkshire.
