Welcome to the The Skills Enhancement Fund website. The Skills Enhancement Fund is a £50m resource aimed at engaging employers in Yorkshire and Humber to invest in skills development and therefore increase the skills base in the region.
We work with over 250 training providers, colleges and partners to deliver part-funded training to employers throughout the region.
Since its launch in 2008, the Fund has:
. . . supported over 42,000 employed individuals to access accredited qualifications
. . . helped in excess of 6,000 employers invest in training
. . . addressed skills gaps and sectoral needs through targeted training
. . . released funding for training in specific parts of the region through geographic frameworks
Companies from a wide variety of sectors and of all sizes have received support to invest in training through The Skills Enhancement Fund and have reported universally high satisfaction ratings.
